Our team at NK Asphalt was engaged to surface a brand new asphalt large residential driveway for a resident in Bedfordale. Installing The New Semi-Rural Residential Driveway

Stage 1: Residential Driveway Preparation

We started by carefully trimming the existing base materials. This ensured we had a solid foundation for the creation of the new semi-rural residential driveway.

Stage 2: Supply

STAGE 2-3: LAYING THE FOUNDATION READY FOR ASPHALT DRIVEWAY INSTALLATION

Stage 3: Foundation Installation

As the area was completely bare our teams installed a 30mm thickness base of 7mm granite to act as the foundation for the later works of this semi-rural residential driveway.

Stage 4: Asphalt Installation

Our crew installed hot asphalt to the crossover, driveway and footpath area as requested. To do this effectively our teams:

Compacted the asphalt foundation to ensure a smooth and sturdy surface for final installation.
Employed effective use of a tack coat. Laying a thin layer this step promotes proper bonding.
Conducted thorough water binding to finish the levels and provide a smooth finish.
